www.phillyopposition.com ) discussion board. This is a place for people to come and talk about issues that involve the mission of our group. Even though we promote the free discussion of ideas, it is a moderated forum and unproductive flame wars, trolling and immature behavior will not be permitted. If you disagree with any policies discussed that is ok, but don't participate here looking for a fight.
Some rules to keep in mind:
1) If you create a user name trying to be anonymous, realize you really aren't. Reply to people and messages as if you were standing right in front of them. We're all friends and all want Philadelphia to be a better place.
2) If you say something negative about someone, whether elected official or private person, make sure it is mature and based on fact (fact that you can cite). Libel will not be tolerated.
3) When posting articles or other people's works, keep in mind copyright laws and Fair Use. Never post full text. Supply a link to the article and no more than a paragraph or two of the relevant information. People make money off ad revenue of the websites the material is on. Make sure to respect that.
4) Keep in mind that even though The Loyal Opposition is hosting the board, it is still public, so don't say anything you wouldn't want to be on the front page of a newspaper.
5) All comments are the views of the person who posted them. Nothing posted is the view of The Loyal Opposition unless it is expressly stated as such.
